Donald Trump won the New Hampshire primary.

Trump took 54% of the vote and Nikki Haley took 43%. Ron DeSantis dropped out of the race ahead of the vote. Trump was quick to point out that no one that won both Iowa and New Hampshire had ever failed to secure the nomination.

Israel encircled Khan Younis, a city in southern Gaza, where it believes Hamas leaders are hiding.

Around 24 Israeli soldiers were killed in what was the deadliest day for the Israeli Defense Forces since the start of the war. Meanwhile, more than 25,000 Palestinians have died in the conflict, the majority of them civilians. Egypt and Qatar are continuing to push for a deal between Israel and Hamas that would include a ceasefire and the release of the remaining hostages.

Turkey’s parliament has approved Sweden’s application to join NATO.

Turkey had been delaying its approval, claiming that Sweden harbored Kurdish militants. The only remaining NATO member to raify Sweden’s membership is now Hungary. Viktor Orban, Hungary’s prime minister, said he would “continue to urge” parliament to approve Sweden’s membership soon.
