Some Cool Rocks I Found – S3 E7

Some Cool Rocks I Found, the Radio Show brings you worldwide grooves, some old, some new, all on a journey before reaching your ears.

This episode is all about holding varied realities without being overwhelmed or trying to hide in any one of them. As so much is unfolding in the world, we can’t turn away, but need a way to stay present and aware without getting swamped by horror or rage.

I don’t think we should bury our heads in the everyday, but it’s important to stay engaged with the beings directly around us, to find some kind of center, some kind of joy in whatever resistance we can embody or help we can offer.

This often brings me back to how we can help each other survive and resist despair and apathy in the day-to-day. Music has always been a huge part of that for me, and that’s the core of this episode and this show.

Songs that help us feel the hurt, songs that are a balm, songs that help us keep going, taking deep breaths, going back for another try.

Next episode this Thursday, March 5th at 7pmET.
