We’re not actually sure why this one’s back on the big screen (11th anniversary?), but it was made to be seen on the big screen, and is certainly better than any of the dog-days-of-summer new releases currently in theaters.

The Conjuring: Last Rites (in wide release)
The ninth and (for now) final installment in the series, with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson investigation the paranormal.

The Threesome (Elmwood Center, Transit Center, Walden Galleria)
An impulsive MFF threesome ends up with both women pregnant in this romantic comedy.

Light of the World (Transit Center)
Animated Christian drama about Jesus, as seen from the perspective of John the Apostle.

The Legend of Hei 2 (Walden Galleria)
In Mandarin with subtitles.
