The horror franchise gets a reboot, with Madelyn Cline and Chase Sui Wonders trying to hide a terrible secret, and Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. returning to pass the torch.

Smurfs (in wide release)
Somehow they’ve managed to make an even worse Smurfs movie than the previous entries. Pity the overqualified cast, which includes Maya Erskine, John Goodman, Dan Levy, Natasya Lyonne, Nick Offerman, Sandra Oh, Amy Sedaris, Octavia Spencer, and Hannah Waddingham.
