Words and Thoughts — September 28, 2023
Hello again alleged readers! I must be brief here with you all. Not a lot of time to talk. Since I could form thoughts, I knew that I wanted to ride on the back of a garbage truck. At least just once. Well, earlier today, I got on the back of a garbage truck. However, I have not gotten off the back of a garbage truck. I’ve been on this thing since this morning, and none of the usual stopping and going that one might expect of a garbage truck is occurring. Rather, there’s no stopping, only going. As far as I can tell, we’re in the middle of Ohio somewhere. At some point this thing has to stop, and when it does, I’ll be sure to let you all know. But until then, I really need both hands to hang on here. If you find yourself stuck on the back of a garbage truck, literally or figuratively this week, I wish you luck! If you happen to be in Ohio, do let me know. I’m here, for at least a little while longer it looks like!
