This Week in Buffalo Sports – September 24, 2023
UB’s women continue to dominate, as the volleyball team swept Kent State in two matches, the tennis team made short work of Niagara and St. Bonaventure at home, and soccer split the week’s games against Akron and Ohio.
The football team is another story, as the Bulls fell to 4-0. And men’s tennis competed at the Binghamton Invitational, which didn’t give a team score, but UB’s Yu-Shiang Huang won the finals of his draw in three sets, while Michael Malkin, Cheng Tang, Theodoros Misakos, and Yuhan Jiang each won their consolation bracket. Meanwhile, the Bills ran up the score on the Commanders, 37-3, and next week face the only AFC team with a better record, the 3-0 Miami Dolphins.
