Three Bulls Compete at NCAA Track & Field Championships
Three UB Bulls were among the best track and field competitors in the nation last week, as after taking gold at the MAC Outdoor Championships two weeks ago, they were invited to the NCAA Championships in Jacksonville Florida this past week.
Danil Chernov finished 33rd in javelin, throwing for 62.16 meters. Long jumper Christina Wende (who also competed at MAC in triple jump, hurdles, and the relay) finished 36th overall in long jump, with a distance of 5.84 meters. And Jonathan Surdej finished 43rd in shot put, with a distance of 16.76. Congratulations to all three, for a triumphant finish to UB’s athletic year!
