Check out our Top 30 artists and albums on Subject Radio, for the week of 5/22 – 5/28.
Asheville, North Carolina, native Indigo de Souza remains at the top of our charts for a third week with All Of This Will End. It’s getting rave reviews and the single “Smog” is getting some serious play on alternative radio beyond us, so cool to see.
If you love timeless melodic tunes with a BritPop glancing melody, check out The Lemon Twigs who rocket up to 4. Right above them, we’ve got the ravely reviewed bicoastal collabo of rapper Billy Woods and DJ/multi-instrumentalist Kenny Segal.
We may be most excited by another New Yorker, by way of Houston, Texas. Hannah Jadagu’s debut EP was released on the lofty indie label Sub Pop when the singer-songwriter was just 18 years old. And it was one of our favorites here at sUBject Radio. Her debut — also on Sub Pop — comes in at number six and if there’s justice, you’ll be hearing Jadagu’s music everywhere soon.
Here’s two songs from every album!
