This Week in Buffalo Sports – May 15, 2023
In pro lacrosses, the Bandits beat Toronto in the semifinal playoff round 2 games to 0, with a combined score of 31-13. The Bandits will advance to their third straight championship game — they lost to Calgary in 2019 and Colorado in 2022, with the two seasons in between cancelled by COVID. This will be Buffalo’s twelfth appearance in the championship since joining the league in 1992, and the Bandits will be playing for their fifth league title over Memorial Day weekend (time TBA).

Enjoy your summer, sports fans!
