This Week in Buffalo Sports 3/20/23
The Bulls winter sports are done, as Bulls wrestler Giuseppe Hoose ended season with a win (and two losses) as the NCAA national championships, and March Madness proceeds without either Bulls squad.
But Softball, Tennis, and Track will keep going until May, and minor league baseball season starts next week. Meanwhile, the Sabres have just 12 games left to catch a narrowing window into the playoffs, and the women’s pro hockey Beauts finish in last place for the second year in a row, a huge disappointment for a team that played in the Isobel Cup their first three seasons in the league.
Standings:
Women’s Tennis: 15-3
Men’s Tennis: 5-5
Softball: 6-16
Sabres: 33-30-6
Beauts (Pro Women’s Hockey): 5-16-3
Bandits (Pro Lacrosse): 10-3
