Local post-hardcore outfit Of Night and Light kick off the new year with some of their loudest friends.

This modern riff on the creepy doll horror movie is getting surprisingly good reviews. Starring Allison Williams and Ronny Chieng.
Thursday 1/12
Velma (HBO Max)Mindy Kaling’s prequel series is the fourteenth animated iteration of Scooby-Doo, and covers the legally-blind sleuth meeting fellow meddling kids Fred (Always Sunny’s Glenn Howerton), Daphne (Crazy Rich Asians’ Constance Wu), and Shaggy (Veep’s Sam Richardson), plus a stacked supporting cast that includes Wanda Sykes, Jane Lynch, Melissa Fumero, Nicole Byer, Gary Cole, Stephen Root, Weird Al Yankovic, and voice acting legend Frank Welker, who has been voicing Fred since 1969 (and here voices his father).
