Lead Now! — Alternative Break Leaders
Welcome to LEAD Now!, a spinoff of LEAD On! where we talk to student leaders at the University of Buffalo.
This week we talk to the Student Engagement Alternative Break Team Leaders. Alternative Break programs let you volunteer, perform community service, and have unique learning opportunities during your spring break. By spending time immersed in a community, you’ll learn about your role as a global citizen, make new friends and connections, and discover how you can become an agent of change. After your trip, you’ll be able to share the lessons you learned with your local community, and continue to lead a life of active citizenship.
Interested in learning more? Contact UB Community and Civic Engagement at leadub@buffalo.edu. Interested in being an Alternative Break Leader? Applications will open in late March/early April
